The beginning of the year has been described to me by one national estate agent based in Cardiff as “a total right off”, and this is echoed by many, due to the treacherous weather conditions.

Potential vendors are put off by the prospect of having their property marketed covered in snow and that is if they are reachable by vehicle, as of course many of the rural properties are not.

Whilst we await new stock in the local market, property viewings are up, especially in Monmouthshire and The Forest of Dean.  This can only be a positive sign for the New Year ahead.
